I'm so getting the oxford cut outs (they're called "Man-o-Man" or something) as one of my shoes for the season. They added these after trunk show. I  have a thing for that style.

I just watched HIPHOP Invasion on FUSE... feat Pac

2Pac was the truth. He popped off sometimes (lol), but nontheless he spoke the truth. I was pretty young in 90's but I've always been logged-in to what he had to say

...ANYWHO! He (Pac) just put things into perspective so well!!! Sooo intelligent. He was def a artiest. Like, yea...! lol. I even love the way he spoke about women whether good or bad...made so much sense. He just spoke the realness about everything. Even if I didnt agree his point of view still made me think. I was logged-in and had to blog about it. 

ps..he was a sexy one too. Pac in Poetic Justice was NOT. A. GAME. what?! lol

I've had the longest week/weekend at work!!! aaahhh no breaks!! Ive just been going and going and going and going!! But I'm not mad at that...just cant wait to play a little. The weird thing is that I work all day, come home, take a nap from 8-9, stay up to weird morning hours, nap, wake up at 7-8am and do it all over again.... idk.

I thought I'd share two of my Favorite Maya Angelou poems. I actually have these saved in my phone and read over them sometimes because they are just so beautiful. I relate to them and they are also everything I hope to grown and be.

I recently moved home and it was killing a part of me to have to come back. I've grown so much since living in Philly for 4 years. I just didn't ever see myself moving back (so soon)..EVEN if its just temp. Recently, I've become a HUGE believer in the saying "everything happens for a reason"

A huge part of me believes I had to come home to get familiar with Patrice, again. Its a beautiful growth experience!!! [it didnt start off that way, but nonetheless, beautiful.]

The other day my homie Phylicia was telling me how much she just loves the song

"Drop It Low" by Easter Dean Ft Chris Brown. I showed her this video of Teyana Taylor KILLING IT!!!

MAAANN, her body is sooo sick...

That day, I learned that Phy used to dance. That would explain why she knows all the routines to every song that came on [Lady GaGa, Beyonce, and whatnot] My brother is a dancer. I love to watch him dance!! It kind of makes me sick. I mean, I can do a little something in the club, ya know, in the car.......................................lol... but when someone can literally inspire your life by their dance moves...sheesh! I'll have to find a video of him..

ANYWHO!! I love to see people dance [that can really move]. Every time I hear "Drop It Low" I think of Phy, us being silly, her dancing, and me in the background going "drop it drop it low girl" haha
